Katie Gavern is a qualified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and the Third-Party Coordinator for the intended parents/gestational carrier program at Main Line Fertility. Katie joined Main Line Fertility in January 2023 after working as a Nurse Practitioner at a private OB/GYN practice in New Jersey, caring for women across their lifespan. For almost ten years prior, she practiced as a Registered Nurse on a cardiac unity at Lankenau Medical Center.

Katie has always had interest in fertility and wanted to dedicated her life to helping individuals build a family. After seeing both of her sisters’ struggle with infertility for years and both were able to successfully have a child, Katie loves nothing more than assisting others on their journey to become parents.

Katie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Scranton and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Women’s Health and gender-related studies at Drexel University. She is board-certified and licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in both PA and NJ.

In her free time, Katie loves spending time with her family and friends, trying out new exercise classes, cooking new recipes, and exploring new places, foods, and cultures.
