Dr. Albert El-Roeiy has been as a Reproductive Endocrinologist and Fertility Specialist has spanned over two decades and allowed him to treat over 8,000 patients and bring over 5,000 children into the world. He is passionate about healthcare innovation, the intersection of medicine and technology, and pursuing higher education to implement both of those ideas into his work and practice. He has served as the Medical Director at HAN Fertility Center since 1993 and began working with Main Line Fertility in December 2018. He prioritizes giving patients tailored, affordable treatment plans and providing them with the consummate care they need to fulfill their unique needs.
Raised in Israel, Dr. El-Roeiy earned his medical degree from Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, IL and fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of California, San Diego. He is licensed as a physician and surgeon in Delaware, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and California. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and has served as a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1993. He earned an Executive MBA from Saint Joseph’s University in 1998, a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma from Villanova University in 2011, and a Masters certificate of Business Intelligence and analytics in 2012. Dr. El-Roeiy has published more than 50 scientific articles in peer reviewed journals, and authored or co-authored many book chapters related to women’s health issues.
Dr. El-Roeiy’s combination of expertise in medicine and innovative business acumen has given him the opportunity to serve as Associate Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Chairman of the Center for Innovation at Crozer Keystone Health System. He was also extremely honored to be elected as President of the Philadelphia Obstetrical Society from 2012-2013 and holds many professional memberships.
Dr. El-Roeiy’s excellence as both a healthcare provider and physician has made him a ten-time recipient of Main Line Today and Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Doctor award, which recognized his dedication and accomplishment as one of the Delaware Valley’s leading physicians. He truly believes in education as one of life’s most essential tools and feels quite passionately about his work as an Associate Professor in Temple University’s Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences. He hopes to give the next generation of nurses physicians and surgeons the tools, motivation, and understanding of medicine they need to improve the lives of others.
When he is not treating patients and continuing his work in healthcare startups, Dr. El-Roeiy enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, reading and writing about healthcare innovation, and cheering for Manchester United during televised soccer games.
